CIA operative Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped create a more authentic rendition of weapon handling, house cleaning, positioning, squad-based action, etc… I was compelled to write a review because the writing, acting and action are so good! I’m a movie/show reviewer and watcher who approaches things from the “glass half theory”. This means I look at the positives first and then the negatives.
Amazing acting, dialogue, action!
I either like it or I don’t. There is always a middle way. "The Left" not only is it far from average, but it has everything! Zoe Saldana is a sexy and beautiful, and like her boss played by Nicole Kidman, both are tough women in American espionage and the military. Both are America’s defense against global terrorism.
Both were top notch
What’s also useful for the viewer is that even though it’s a cable TV series (Paramount), it has a big movie budget. The production team does not waste its budget, its' efficient, practical and flawless execution of production value. As I mentioned in the title, it has the excitement of “24”; and "Columbia"! Do you remember the TV show and the movie? I don’t mind family problems and teenage drama.
It works fine for me
As a parent, I get it. I still think the terrorists will get to Joe’s (Zoe Saldana) family. (I hope not, but I could see it happening) Obviously I haven’t finished the series yet. And I don’t even have what it takes to write this review."Levice" it is very good and I highly recommend it. This is one of the first reviews I’ve done that I don’t have any issues with the content.
I haven’t checked but I really want a second series for “the lioness”!!!
My other reviewers on past classics and well done movies/TV shows are obvious.
